- 2012: [Apr 13] Next week is the annual IEEE social event. If you haven't RSVP'd already, please visit https://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meeting_view/list_meeting/11983. For students, the social event will be $10.00. You may pay upon registering or at the meeting. It is being held at Cabana Charley’s of Sycamore. Join us Friday, April 20th from 6:00PM to 10:00PM!

- 2012: [Feb 6] As part of our regularly scheduled meeting, Thursday, February 9th the club will be having a soldering tutorial. Please come to the meeting and practice soldering techniques! There will be demonstration boards with which you can practice hot-air desoldering methods as well as soldering of wires and components to sacrificial boards. Anyone interested in soldering is encouraged to come. Have you got any boards that the club could use in the tutorial? Bring them along!

- 2011: [Oct 17] IEEE meeting will be held Thursday, October 20 at 6:00 in Engineering Building Room 209, we will be wrapping up the pumpkin battery, we will be discussing future project plans and setup a timeline. Please note the room change, which is due to the career fair taking place that same day.
- [Oct 10] IEEE meeting will be held Thursday, October 13 at 6:00 in Engineering Building Room 358, we will continue designing and testing the Pumpkin Battery for STEM Fest 2011.
- [Oct 9] The USOR paper has been written in in order to get funding for the Fuel Cell ElectricalGO-Kart, is currently being reviewed by IEEE officers.
- [Oct 6] A test run of the Pumpkin Battery has provided successful results, further design and testing will continue durring next week's meeting.
- [Oct 5] Orders for IEEE Embroidered Polo's and Zip-Up Hoodie's are being taken orders are due byFriday October 28, 2011. (press here to obtain an apparel order form)
- [Apr 11] The Egg Contest has been renewed this year! You can still make a lighted egg. Awards are given out for battery life longevity and appearance/style. Email any of your IEEE officers for details (see them here).
- [Mar 25] Check our events page! We are hoping for a big turnout this year at our IEEE Social event. Guests are welcome, as our non-members, student members, and professional members of IEEE. There is a $10 entrance expense for non-members and students. Professional members get in free. Check out this flyer our treasurer Pathik made.

NIU IEEE t-shirt. Currently, we are going with the design in the attachment and the price of $12, with sizes S-XL. You have to let us know if you intend to order by filling out an order form and making a $5 deposit. The forms will be available at the project meeting and other IEEE events up to April 23rd, so do not put it off and order now!
